This new old stock right hand rear door lock (2nd type-lock bolt housing 1-9/16″ high-bottom edge is rounded) was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Buick 1955  (41-61) After body #15287 on 41 and body #4683 on 61.

Buick 1956  (41-49-69).

Chevrolet 1955 – 1957 4 door except Sport Sedan (2nd type).

Oldsmobile 1955 – 1956 except H.S. (1955 2nd type with extended lock bolt housing).

Pontiac 1955 – 1957 Chieftain 4 door Sedan, Chieftain 4 door Station Wagon, Star Chief 4 door Sedan (25/2719-62, 2819) 2nd type on 1955.

Lock bolt housing 1-9/16″ high / bottom edge is rounded.
