1955 – 1970 Chevrolet NOS Engine Water Pump GM # 3998207 

This new old stock water pump was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Chevrolet 1955-1970  265, 283, 302, 307, 327 and 350 with short leg pump

Chevrolet   1955-1970 Corvette except 396, 427, 454, 

Chevrolet  1965 Pass, Chevy with 283, 327,

Chevrolet  1965 Chevelle with 327 except Sp. Hi/Per.,

Chevrolet  1968 Camaro with 302,

Chevrolet Pickup  1955-1962, 1965 All with 265, 283, 327

Date code A 5 6  ( 1966 )  Cast # 3839175 

This water pump was manufactured in 1976 ( Box dated 1/19/76 ) as a replacement for  3998206 and 3998207 water pumps. Please read the GM instruction sheet.
